Argentina has 20 first division clubs, of which eight are in the City of Buenos Aires. The local soccer championship is one of the most competitive in the world. To matches of first division championship it is important to know which are played between Friday and Sunday, noon or night. Among the most representative clubs are Boca Juniors, River Plate, Independiente, Racing and San Lorenzo.
Carlos Gardel
He began his career singing in bars and parties, until in 1913 formed the duo with Jose Razzano (which would last until 1925), singing a wide variety of popular songs. Gardel made the music itself-inventing Tango Song, with its success of 1917, Mi Noche Triste, selling 100,000 copies and becoming an immediate popular success in Latin countries. Gardel did tour in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Colombia and cities like Barcelona, Paris and New York. In the first three months of his 1928 visit to Paris, 70,000 copies of his albums were sold. During his short life, Gardel recorded a total of 770 subjects, including 514 tangos. The enormous popularity of Gardel as an interpreter of ballads melancholic tango was confirmed in the 20's and 30 in nightclubs and films. With this, the elite of Argentina overcame his aversion to the humble origins of Tango and sensuality open only when his music was widely accepted in France and Spain.
Evita Duarte de Perón
Maria Eva Duarte was born in Los Toldos, province of Buenos Aires, in 1919. His father died when Evita was six. When he was 15 years he decides to move to Buenos Aires seeking to become an actress. In January 1944, he met the Colonel Juan Domingo Peron and two years later married. In February 1946 Peron is elected president, where the opposition does fall into the rejection she felt by the elected president. As first lady developed an intense work, both politically and socially. Politically, he worked hard to get the female vote and was organizer and founder of the female branch of Peronism. His popularity was around trade unionists and their ease and charisma to get the working masses, whom he called his "shirtless". Eva Peron died very young, the July 26, 1952, because of a leukemia, whose vigil lasted 14 days.
Diego Armando Maradona
Diego Maradona was born on October 30, 1960 at the Polyclinic Avoid Wool. He was the fifth child of the marriage between Diego Maradona and Dalma Salvadora Franco. It began in a pasture of Fiorito called "The Seven canchitas" and his first contact with the world of football came in 1969 when he conducted a test to enter the lower division club Argentinos Juniors, where before the age of 16 years He debuted in the first team of the club. His first division debut came in 1976 by a party of the Metropolitan Championship.
